Disha is an Indian actress who works in Hindi-language films. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film ‘Loafer’ in 2015 and went on to act in several other films. She was listed under the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 back in 2019. She was born on 13th June 1992 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

Struggles and Early Rise to Fame from 2015 to 2020 

As we already know, Disha had made her first-time acting debut with the Telugu film ‘Loafer’ wherein she acted opposite the known actor Varun Tej back in 2015. Although the movie was received poorly at the box office, Patani was noticed, and the next year, she appeared in the music video of ‘Befikra’ along with Tiger Shroff. 

In 2016, Patani found success with the movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ which was directed by Neeraj Pandey. 

She acted opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani, and her performance as Priyanka, Mahi’s girlfriend who died in a car accident, was received extremely positively. She went on to win the Star Debut of the Year for her role in the movie that year. 

In 2018, Disha once again vowed Bollywood when she appeared with Tiger Shroff in the action thriller ‘Baaghi 2’. The film ranked in the list of highest-grossing films of that year, but her role was not exactly significant.

In 2019, she appeared in the movie ‘Bharat’ wherein she was placed opposite strong actors like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, thus shadowing herself.

In the next year, she played a negative role in the psychological film ‘Ek Villain Returns’. 

The movie had not performed well commercially, and Disha’s character and role were quite subpar.
